Service · Voice AI

A call that holds a conversation

It listens, answers without an awkward gap, handles being interrupted, and speaks the caller's own language. And it updates the systems behind it while the call is still happening, which is the part that makes it a system rather than a demo.

What we have built

Three voice systems, all of them ours

Which means we can show you the inside of them, including the parts that were hard.

ProspectVox

Our outbound sales voice product: a five-stage workflow from research through to AI-led calls, with CRM sync, running in 22 languages.

VectorHire voice interviews

AI-conducted candidate interviews, running as one of four screening agents working in parallel rather than in sequence.

VORTA

Our support product, holding multi-turn multilingual conversations grounded in a customer's own knowledge base.

The craft

Six things that decide whether a voice system works

None of them is the model. Voice is a latency problem wearing a language problem's clothes.

01

The pipeline, or the shortcut

Speech to text, model, text to speech — or unified speech-to-speech where the transcription hop is the thing costing you the conversation. The choice is per flow, not per vendor.

02

Latency as a design target

Sub-500ms is the target the pipeline is built against, because past that a caller starts talking over the system and never stops.

03

Barge-in handling

People interrupt. A voice system that cannot be interrupted is a hold message with extra steps.

04

Transport that survives a real line

Telephone and browser transport with per-call quality telemetry, and a fallback when packet loss makes the call worse than useless.

05

Real-time transcription and sentiment

Scored as the call happens, so an escalation is triggered by the caller's state rather than by a post-call report.

06

The workflow underneath

Voice alone is a feature. The call that books the meeting, updates the CRM or screens the candidate is a system.

Said before you ask

Where our voice proof comes from

Our voice work is proven on our own products, not on a stream of recent client wins.

There is no active voice-AI client engagement right now, and you should know that before you buy rather than after. What is real: ProspectVox runs our own outbound campaigns at a 47% connect rate — our product's number, on our campaigns, never a promise about yours — and the pipeline craft behind it is genuine. The honest offer here is a demo on your own call flow, which in this category beats a reference anyway.

Bring the five calls you get most

A demo beats a description in this category. Bring the five things your line hears most and we will run them through a live agent grounded on your own material, including the ones it should refuse to answer.
Our second practice

This is our AI engineering practice

It is real work and it is where our four products came from. But what Cognilium leads with is narrower: optimization apps that run in tandem with Microsoft Dynamics 365, computing the decisions the ERP records but does not derive — the optimal price, the optimal pick path, the optimal stock level. See the optimization apps · How we build inside the ERP.
